Tehran, Aug 4 (IANS) Iran has confiscated a foreign oil tanker in the Persian Gulf that was smuggling fuel to some Arab countries, state run Press TV reported on Sunday.
The development comes after Iran last month seized two tankers -- Panama-flagged MT Riah and Britain's Stena Impero -- both in the Strait of Hormuz.
The British tanker was seized in retaliation to the UK's detention of Iranian tanker Grace 1 in the Strait of Gibraltar.
