In a jolt to the YSR Congress Party government, the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday stayed the order of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to review the power purchase agreements (PPAs) made during his predecessor N Chandrababu Naidu's tenure.
The CM also formed a high-level negotiation committee for renegotiating the power purchase agreements with wind and solar developers.
Hearing a petition filed by 40 renewable power generation companies, the High Court stayed the state government order issued on July 1 seeking renegotiation of all renewable PPAs for four weeks.
