PEORIA (U.S.), June 5, 2019 (Xinhua) -- Wang Zhidong (R), legal advisor to the family of visiting Chinese scholar Zhang Yingying, steps out of a federal courthouse building in Peoria, Illinois, the United States, on June 3, 2019. Twenty four more potential jurors were pre-approved Tuesday to participate in the trial of accused kidnapper and killer Brendt Christensen, bringing the total number of qualified jurors in Zhang Yingying's case to 37. Wang Zhidong told Xinhua on Wednesday that the judge agreed to pick 70 qualified jurors by Friday, and then further pare down the number to 12 jurors and 6 substitute jurors on Monday next week.
