With Telangana government set to get back the five Secretariat blocks that were allotted to Andhra Pradesh, it may redesign the Telananga Secretariat complex or spread out some blocks to suit its requirements.
The government seems to have shelved its earlier proposal to construct a new integrated Secretariat complex at Bison Polo Grounds after the “unviable” conditions laid by the Defence Ministry in lieu of parting with the Defence lands. Instead, it may utilise the existing Secretariat blocks or raze them down and build new buildings with lot of greenery around.
