Now, Nitish Kumar expanded his cabinet today and inducted 8 JD-U MLAs and left out the ally BJP without giving any ministries. In the recent Lok Sabha elections, JDU won 16 out of 17 seats contested. BJP won all the 17 seats it contested. However, JDU got only one ministry in Modi’s cabinet. Nitish, probably as a retort to Modi’s step, today expanded his cabinet. With this Nitish Kumar Cabinet now has 33 ministers, up from 25.
