New Delhi, May 30 (IANS) A 55-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide on Thursday by jumping from the fourth floor of her residence in west Delhi's Dwarka, police said.
At around 7 a.m., the deceased identified as Sunita, was found lying in a pool of blood by her neighbour who reported the incident to the police.
Sunita was shifted to Rockland hospital where she was declared brought dead. No suicide note was found.
One Ishwar Singh told investigators that while going for a morning walk he asked Sunita to accompany him but she refused.
"Sunita told Singh that she will walk on her terrace from where she later jumped to the adjacent plot," Deputy Commissioner of Police Anto Alphonse said.
Sunita was a diabetic patient and her relatives said she was in depression for some time due to her illness, he added.
