HOUSTON, May 17, 2019 (Xinhua) -- Steve Adler, mayor of Austin, receives an interview with Xinhua in Houston, the United States, on May 16, 2019. City level exchange and cooperation can help promote understandings between the United States and China, Steve Adler said on Thursday. The direct relationship between cities is important to Austin, a diverse city, Adler told Xinhua on the sidelines of the fourth U.S.-China Innovation and Investment Summit, which kicked off Thursday in Houston. Jointly hosted by China Science & Technology Exchange Center and the U.S.-China Innovation Alliance, the summit attracted around 300 participants, including entrepreneurs and investors.
