Greater Noida, May 14 (IANS) Police have arrested two other men who thrashed a woman employee of a unisex saloon here when she sought her salary but refused to have sex with the owner and his friends.
Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna said saloon owner Waseem was arrested on Monday while his accomplices remained at large. On Tuesday, the other two men were also held.
On Saturday, the saloon owner attempted to outrage her modesty when she demanded her salary.
The victim told the police that the saloon owner was delaying her salary for days, demanding that she establish a physical relations with him.
On Saturday, the woman resisted the owner's attempt to rape her along with his friends and ran out of the saloon. Her clothes were torn publicly but no one came to rescue her, she said.
Although the woman was attacked on Saturday, the police did not act on her complaint until a video of her beating went viral on the social media and she approached senior police officers.
