Mumbai, March 15 (IANS) Filmmaker Anmol Arora, who has bagged multiple awards for short film "B for Ballon", says it is always easy to convey a message through children.
On working with children on a socially relevant film, Arora told the media: "The film chronicles a heart-warming and soul-stirring tale of a slum-dweller child who aspires to purchase a football by selling balloons on the roadside."
The filmmaker said the idea for the movie generated during a personal incident.
"Life teaches us many lessons and similarly I encountered one of it with a slum kid," Arora said.
Talking about how digital content platforms have opened doors for filmmakers like him, he said: "It is a perfect platform to showcase your film. As a filmmaker, I think a platform is as important as the content of a film. Not every filmmaker wants to convey some social message through their films, but I wanted a message-driven content drama."
Producer Jitendra Rai, who has also produced and directed short film "Cup of Tea" and "Nanhi Neend", said he always supports movies which give a social message and those which can impact the society".
"B for Balloon" is produced by Rai under Matheno Films with Anuj Chaudhry from Footprints Production and Mansi Sengupta.
