As the 2019 general elections are nearing in the state, all the political parties have geared up the process of selecting the candidates. Ahead of other parties, TDP chief and CM N Chandrababu Naidu is busy in conducting the review meetings with the party leaders and declaring the party candidates. Chandrababu Naidu has been exercising the selection of candidates for the upcoming general elections for the past few days.
Assembly candidates:
Hindupur: Nandamuri Balakrishna, Raptadu: Paritala Sunitha, Madakasira: Veeranna, Penukonda: B K Parthasarathi, Dharmavaram: Suryanarayana, Kadiri: Chand Basha / Kandikunta Prasad, Puttaparthi: Palle Raghunatha Reddy / Ganganna.
Anantapur: Prabhakar Chowdary, Rayadurgam: Kalava Srinivasulu, Uravakonda: Payyavula, Kalyandurg: Hanumantharaya Chowdary / Ram Mohan Chowdary / DS Murthy, Guntakal: Jithendra Goud / Venkata Shiva Yadav / Madhusudan Gupta, Tadpatri: JC Asmith Reddy, Singanamala: Sravani.
In the meantime, rumors are spreading on the who will contest on TDP ticket for the Loksabha elections. Speculation is on that the TDP MP list includes Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Rammohan Naidu, Murali Mohan, Galla Jaydev, Siva Prasad, Maganti Babu, Kesineni Nani, Konakalla Narayana, Malyadi Sriram, Nimmala Kristappa and Butta Renuka.
The TDP high command has almost confirmed the party tickets for these candidates but needs to wait for the official announcement. But some say Chandra Babu may give a shock to some of them.
