Kottayam (Kerala), March 3 (IANS) A mahout was accidentally trampled to death by a tusker, here on Sunday, police said.
"Arun had asked the elephant named Bharath Viswanathan to lie down. But instead of turning to the opposite side, the elephant sat over Arun and he was trampled. Before people could rescue him, it was too late," said an official from Kottayam West Police station.
