Two Bengal men held with fake currency

Kolkata, Dec 13 (IANS) Based on prior information, two persons from West Bengal's Nadia district have been arrested for carrying fake 500 rupee notes amounting to Rs 1 lakh, police said on Thursday.

Ahmad Dar, 60, and Asraf Seikh, 30, were spotted in Java bazar near the Bangladesh border. They were caught on Wednesday, a police official said.
