Gunfight erupts in J&K

Srinagar, Nov 18 (IANS) A gunfight erupted on Sunday between militants and the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district, police said.

The security forces cordoned off the Rebon village after receiving specific information about holed-up militants.

"As the security forces closed in on the hiding militants, they fired triggering the ongoing gunfight," police sources said.
