BJP youth wing leader shot himself due to love problems

Bhopal, July 4 (IANS) Disturbed by problems in his love-life, Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader Atul Lokhande shot himself on Tuesday night, police said.

The 30-year-old shot himself at his lover's house and is now in a critical condition in a hospital.

According to police, Atul was having a love-affair with a girl and wanted to marry her. But her father wasn't allowing their marriage. On Tuesday night, Atul was discussing the issue with the girl's father when he took out a revolver and shot himself.

The police revealed that before the incident, Atul had shared a post on Facebook disclosing his love-affair.
