Digvijaya, Jyotiraditya to head coordination, campaign panels for MP polls

New Delhi, May 22 (IANS) Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday announced Digvijaya Singh and Jyotiradiya Scindia would head the Coordination Committee and Election Campaign Committee respectively for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly elections.

Apart from the former Chief Minister, the Coordination Committee will have 12 other members, including Mahesh Joshi, Rameshwar Neekhra and Mujeeb Qureshi, as per a party statement.

There will be 15 members, including Scindia, in the Election Campaign Committee.

Besides these two, Gandhi also declared the formation and constituents of Election Planning & Strategy Committee, Manifesto Committee, Disciplinary Action Committee, and Media & Communication Committee.

He also approved the names of 20 district presidents of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee.
