Washington, April 4 (IANS) Four US marines have been killed in a helicopter crash while carrying out a routine training exercise in California.

The Marine Corps said on Wednesday that the cause of the accident, that took place on Tuesday, was being investigated, Efe news reported.

The helicopter, a CH-53E Super Stallion, crashed near El Centro, a few kilometres from the border with Baja California in Mexico.
