Porsche names new chief for China, Hong Kong

Stuttgart (Germany), March 20 (IANS) German luxury car brand Porsche, part of Volkswagen AG, said on Tuesday that Jens Puttfarcken will become President and Chief Executive Officer of Porsche China and Porsche Hong Kong from July 2018, according to a report from Dow Jones Newswires.

China was the company's largest sales market in 2017 with over 71,000 vehicles sold, Efe news reported citing Porsche.

Puttfarcken is currently CEO of Porsche Deutschland. The car maker said it hasn't yet made a decision on his replacement, the Dow Jones report added.
