New Delhi, March 17 (IANS) It was a clear Saturday morning in the national capital with minimum temperature recorded at 17.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, the weatherman said.

"The sky will remain clear in the day ahead," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 31 degrees Celsius.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 66 per cent.

Friday's maximum and minimum temperature settled one notch above the season's average at 31.2 degrees Celsius and 16.8 degrees Celsius, respectively.
