Dubai, March 3 (IANS) Veteran Indian star Leander Paes and his American partner Jamie Cerretani went down in straight sets to defending champions Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau in the men's doubles final at the Dubai Tennis Championships here on Saturday.

The Indo-American combination produced a late charge before losing 6-2, 7-6 (2) to their second seeded Dutch-Romanian opponents.

Rojer and Horia Tecau retain thus won the title for the second time in a row. This is their 17th title since they first paired up in 2014.
