Cabinet apprised of Indo-Tunisian Youth programme

New Delhi, Feb 7 (IANS) The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was on Wednesday apprised of an MoU signed between India and Tunisia to promote cooperation in the field of youth matters, an official statement said.

The MoU, signed here on October 30, 2017, has the objective "to create international perspective among the Indian youth, to promote exchange of ideas, values and culture and to involve them in promoting peace and understanding", it said.

The MoU, valid for a period of five years, envisages youth exchange programmes, exchange of printed materials, films, experiences, research and other information and study visits.
