New Delhi, Feb 5 (IANS) Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday renamed the party's computer department as 'Data Analytics Department', saying it will help the party to effectively use 'big data'.

"Excited to announce a 'Data Analytics' dept under the leadership of Praveen Chakravarty to effectively use 'Big Data'," Gandhi said in a tweet.

A party release had said earlier that Chakravarty has been nominated chairman of the department with immediate effect.
