J.K. Cement’s Q3 standalone net up over 9%

New Delhi, Feb 3 (IANS) J.K. Cement on Saturday said its stand-alone net profit rose by 9.77 per cent during the third quarter (Q3) ended December 31, 2017 to Rs 72.92 crore.

The company's net profit during the corresponding period of last year stood at Rs 66.43 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing to the BSE.

Total revenue for the quarter under review was reported at Rs 1,151.02 crore -- up 6.3 per cent -- from Rs 1,082.72 crore reported during Q3 FY17.

On Friday, the scrips of the company on the BSE fell by 3.07 per cent to close at Rs 1,095.20 per share.
