JSW Steel’s Q3 consolidated net jumps to Rs 1,774 cr

New Delhi, Jan 31 (IANS) JSW Steel on Wednesday reported a whopping 147.76 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit during the third quarter (Q3) ended December 31, 2017 at Rs 1,774 crore.

The net profit during Q3 2016-17 was reported at Rs 716 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing to the BSE.

The company said its total income in Q3 of 2017-18 stood at Rs 17,903 crore -- up 16.67 per cent -- as compared to Rs 15,345 crore reported during the corresponding period of 2016-17.

On Wednesday, the shares of JSW Steel closed 0.19 per cent higher at Rs 290.15 on the BSE.
