Meghalaya CM signs MoUs with Belgium

New Delhi, Nov 8 (IANS) Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul M Sangma on Wednesday signed MoUs between his government, the Central government and Belgium's Wallonia Region on cooperation in various fields.

The MoU was signed to promote favourable relations of partnership and beneficial cooperation between the two in the fields of trade and commerce, training, healthcare, environmental areas, science and technology, agro-food including breweries, sports and leisure, architecture and heritage, urban development/eco-systems management, veterinary & animal husbandry and other fields that shall be mutually agreed upon.

As many as 16 MoUs have been signed between different stakeholders of India and Belgium during the ongoing visit during the ongoing visit of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, including two with Meghalaya.
