NIA custody of 2 Kashmiri stone-pelters extended

New Delhi, Sep 16 (IANS) A court here on Saturday extended, till September 19, the NIA custody of two alleged Kashmiri stone-pelters.

During in-camera proceedings, Special Judge O.P. Saini allowed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to quiz Javed Ahmad Bhat of Kulgam and Kamran of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir till September 19 as they were produced in court after expiry of their ten-day NIA custody.

The NIA had on September 5 arrested the two in connection with an ongoing probe into terror funding to stoke unrest in the Kashmir Valley.
