Mumbai feels safer than Delhi: Shivani Tomar

New Delhi, July 2 (IANS) In Mumbai she misses the street food and shopping experiences that Delhi offers, but actress Shivani Tomar loves the city of dreams for the freedom it gives to walk on the street in the middle of the night.

Shivani, who has featured in "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?...Ek Baar Phir", had shifted base from Delhi to Mumbai around five years ago. Does she miss Delhi?

She told IANS here: "Oh yes, all the time... Delhi food, especially street food... I love 'chhole kulche' so much. I cannot get it in Mumbai, and how can vada pav replace that? And aloo paratha. I know Mumbai has fashion street, but my 'Dilliwali shopping' is the best."

"However, Mumbai has given me one thing that Delhi does not have -- walking free in the middle of the night on street. As a girl, I feel much safer here late in the night."

Currently, she is seen in "Chandrakanta", which also features Urvashi Dholakia and Vishal Aditya Singh.
