Mohun Bagan and East Bengal will take part in the I-League this season which will run simultaneously with the Indian Super League (ISL) from November.
In a meeting held in New Delhi on Thursday, I-League clubs agreed to the proposal of both meets running simultaneously provided there is good coverage and marketing.
"If Mohun Bagan wants to play their matches at the club ground, we don't have a problem provided they upgrade their facilities," I-League CEO Sunando Dhar told IANS over phone.
Mohun Bagan will form a committee to review the matter. They also need to talk to broadcasters Star Sports and the All India Football Federation regarding the feasibility of the matter.
