New Delhi, June 30 (IANS) The national capital witnessed a cloudy Friday morning with rain in several areas. The minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, the weather office said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 100 per cent and there was 16.5 mm of rain.
"Generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers are likely to occur," an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius, five degrees below the normal.
On Thursday, the maximum temperature settled at 35 degrees Celsius, two notches below average and the minimum was recorded at 24.2 degrees Celsius, four degrees below the normal.
