Los Angeles, Jun 6 (PTI) On 30th anniversary of Whitney Houston's second album 'Whitney', music producer Narada Michael Walden revealed Mick Jagger became a huge fan of the singer during the recording of one of her songs from the LP.
Walden said The Rolling Stones legend was mesmerised by Houston's voice when he heard her singing "So Emotional", reported Entertainment Weekly.
"Mick was recording next door and he had to come in and witness it. He started jumping around, as he does, and he just couldn't believe the sound. Whitney was so excited about that," said Walden.
After it was released on June 2, 1987, the album spawned four number one singles and earned Houston one Grammy, and it's since been certified nine-times platinum.
