Two teenagers die as car hit throws them off flyover

New Delhi, April 28 (IANS) A 17-year-old teenager and a young woman riding pillion suffered a fatal, 40-foot fall from a flyover on Friday after their bike was hit by a speeding car in south Delhi, the city police said.

Both Sulabh Pandey and the unidentified woman were seriously injured when they fell off the flyover near Badarpur area on the Mathura Road, Deputy Commissioner of Police Romil Baaniya said.

The teenagers later succumbed to injuries in All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

Both were not wearing helmets, the police said. Car driver Anwar, 28, was arrested from the spot, Baaniya said.

Sulabh, a resident of Titoo Colony in Faridabad, was working in a private company in the Haryana city.
