Pankaj Oswal seeks transfer of shares of father’s companies

New Delhi, April 27 (IANS) Industrialist Abhey Oswal's eldest son Pankaj Oswal has sent legal notices to his father's companies Oswal Agro Mills Limited (OAML) and Oswal Green Tech Limited (OGL) seeking transfer of his shares, a statement said on Thursday.

Pankaj Oswal has filed a a petition with Delhi High Court where he has alleged that people are attempting to oust him from the estate of his father including suit properties.

He has claimed his absolute proprietary rights to the extent of one fourth undivided share in the estate of his father, who died on March 29, 2016.

On April 24, the Delhi High Court has stayed all orders related to all properties of Abhey Oswal and directed all parties to this partition suit to appear for hearing on July 28, the next date fixed for hearing.

"I will not let other people take the rightful share of the legal heirs and I will do whatever it takes to win the battle in a legal way," Pankaj Oswal said in a statement.

"I have discovered some hitherto hidden, but significant, wrongdoings happening at the group companies' end. Abiding by the law, I will take every possible step to unearth the misconduct by the wrong people and seek justice," he said.

After the death of the elder Oswal, all his assets, properties and businesses known or unknown, in and outside India have devolved on his legal heirs -- widow Aruna Oswal, sons Pankaj and Shael Oswal and daughter Shallu Naveen Jindal.
