Eight killed in Jharkhand road accidents


Ranchi, March 31 (IANS) At least eight persons died in three separate road accidents in Jharkhand on Friday, police said.

The first accident took place in Ramgarh district after a tractor driver lost control and hit an auto-rickshaw and two bikes.

Three persons died on the spot and six were injured. One of the injured died later.

The second accident happened in Gumla district when a truck carrying around 10 persons fell from a bridge. Three persons died and seven were injured.

The third accident took place in Latehar district when a bike was hit by a truck. One person died and the bike caught fire.
