Patna, March 21 (IANS) In its bid to ward off embarrassments like "topper scam", question paper leak and cheating in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday said that the government may introduce online examination soon for transparency.
"The state government is set to change examination pattern in Bihar by introducing online examination and evaluation for overall transparency and to end chances of manual interferences," he said here at an official function.
"To introduce greater transparency in the system, we are mulling online evaluation by taking information like questions asked, name of the evaluator, answers and model answers to the online system," Nitish Kumar said.
He recalled that in last few years, the state government had worked hard to improve the education sector, particularly school education, but due to vested interest of some people, the sector had earned a bad name.
