Mumbai, March 17 (IANS) Actor Atul Kulkarni will play Brigadier Sathey in the first digital show to be launched under Ekta Kapoor's ALTBalaji. It will be directed by Nagesh Kukunoor.
Atul will play a tough taskmaster, ensuring that the soldiers are trained to the best of their abilities.
Talking about the role in the yet untitled show, Atul said in a statement: "As an actor, it has always been my endeavour to work on stories and characters that are challenging and pose a unique point of view.
"When Nagesh spoke to me of this character and the series, I was excited because not only does the character resonate with many people but we also get insight into a world which we know so little of. To partner with Nagesh on this is very exciting."
