Mumbai, March 2 (IANS) The promoter group entities of Reliance Industries on Thursday proposed to restructure their shareholding in it, without altering the total promoter group's holding in the company.
"The promoter group entities of RIL propose to re-structure their shareholding in RIL by inter se transfer of shares among the promoter group entities and have made the necessary disclosures in this regard today," a spokesperson for the promoter group said.
"The proposed inter se transfers will not result in any change in promoter group shareholding in RIL."
According to a regulatory filing with the BSE, eight entities of the promoter group will acquire 118.99 crore share representing 36.70 per cent stake from 15 other promoter group companies for Rs 1,100.78 per share.
