According to an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official, the sky will get partly cloudy towards the afternoon.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 30 degrees Celsius, the official said.
"The maximum temperature will likely increase on Wednesday."
The IMD has predicted partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thunder lightning on Wednesday.
Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at 28.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, and the minimum was 11 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
"Days will get warmer now," the official said.
