Los Angeles, Feb 2 (PTI) Actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has been roped in to play the villain Black Manta in "Aquaman," movie starring Jason Momoa.
Patrick Wilson and Amber Heard are also set to star in the Warner Bros movie to be directed by James Wan, reported Variety.
Peter Safran is producing the project. Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, and Rob Cowan are executive producing.
Abdul-Mateen beat out a short list of actors that included "Moonlight" breakout Trevante Rhodes and "24: Legacy" star Corey Hawkins.
