Los Angeles, Jan 13 (IANS) British actor and comedian James Corden has been roped in to star alongside Sandra Bullock in the upcoming film "Oceans Eight".
Corden will be seen as an insurance investigator in the film, reports variety.com.
Gary Ross will direct the film, which will also feature Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter.
Bullock's character is the leader of a group of thieves and cons who try to pull off a major heist. Damian Lewis will play Bullock's former lover and the target of the gang's robbery.
"Ocean's Eight" is slated to release on June 8, 2018.
Corden is best known for hosting his show "The Late Late Show With James Corden". He is also set to host the Grammy Awards in February.
