Los Angeles, Nov 17 (PTI) Actor Val Kilmer took to Facebook to share that Michael Douglas wrote "a nice note apologizing" for suggesting to the press overseas that he has been diagnosed with tongue cancer.
Last month, Douglas claimed at a Q&A that Kilmer had been diagnosed with tongue cancer. Kilmer quickly denied such claims in a radio interview, and said while he has "love" for Douglas and the 72-year-old actor was "misinformed."
"Michael Douglas wrote me a nice note apologizing for suggesting to the press overseas, I 'wasn't doing too well...; and was grateful to hear I am doing well. He's a classy guy...," Kilmer, 56, wrote.
Last week, Kilmer made his first public appearance since denying he has cancer, and had trouble speaking as he admitted that he did have health issues that forced him to cancel a tour.
