Swimming: Suyash fails to reach final in 50m butterfly in Paralympics

Rio de Janeiro, Sep 12 (IANS) Indian Suyash Narayan Yadav failed to advance to the final in the S7 50 metres butterfly swimming competition of the Rio Paralympics here on Monday.

Suyash finished fifth in his Heat and overall he was ninth with a timing of 33.63 seconds to miss out on the final berth.

Ukraine's Levgenii Bogodaiko and Andriy Kozlenko claimed the top two ranks with timings of 30.74s and 31.23s respectively.

Matthew Levy of Australia finished third in the qualifying competition for the final.
