4 killed as train derails in Spain

Madrid, Sep 9 (IANS) At least four persons were killed and 49 injured on Friday as a train derailed in Spain, authorities said.

Among the dead was the Portuguese train driver, Efe news reported.

The train, which had three carriages and was carrying 60 persons, derailed near O Porrino as it travelled between the Spanish town of Vigo and the Portuguese city of Porto.

The train belonged to a Portuguese company.
