2 die in Spain as train derails

Madrid, Sep 9 (IANS) At least two persons were killed on Friday as a train derailed in Spain, authorities said.

Many people were injured and several were in critical condition, Efe news reported.

The train, which had three carriages and was carrying 60 persons, derailed near O Porrino as it travelled between the Spanish town of Vigo and the Portuguese city of Porto.

The train belonged to a Portuguese company.
