Philadelphia, July 29 (IANS) Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on early Thursday formally accepted the Democratic Party's nomination for president and pledged "steady leadership" and more economic opportunities for Americans.
"I accept your nomination for President of the United States," CNN quoted Hillary as saying as she became the first female candidate of a major US party.
