
Vazquez, who has Argentine origins, will travel to Seville in the coming hours to take the medical test prior to signing for the Europa League champions, according to the Italian media.
Sevilla sporting director Ramon Rodriguez admitted on Monday that the Spanish club could sign Vazquez, reports Efe.
The Italian international, 27, played with his national team in two championships and appeared in about 100 games with Palermo since he joined the Italian side in 2012.
Vazquez was also on loan at La Liga side, Rayo Vallecano, where he played 18 matches and scored three goals.
