Kashyap, who completed his Rajya Sabha term on July 4, would be released on Thursday or Friday, his lawyer Sudhir Tyagi said.
Earlier, the local court of Additional District Judge (ADJ) Ist Santosh Kumar Pandey had rejected his bail plea.
He was arrested on April 7 after his daughter-in-law Himanshi was found dead in his house the previous day with gunshot injuries.
Kashyap was arrested under section 304 (B) of Indian Penal Code -- demadning dowry, cruelty, unnatural death of the bride within seven years of marriage -- which was later upheld by the sessions court.
