2 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in West Bank

Ramallah, July 1 (Xinhua) At least two Palestinians were killed in two separate incidents by Israeli forces in the West Bank, officials said on Friday.

A 27-year-old Sarah Tarayrah was shot dead by Israeli soldiers in Hebron city, Xinhua news agency reported.

A border security officer, while conducting a security check, foiled a "terrorist attack by a Palestinian woman in Hebron city" after she tried stabbing him with a knife.

The officer was not hurt, but the woman was fatally shot, local media reported.

A Palestinian man in his fifties died as a result of tear gas grenades thrown by Israeli forces towards Palestinians at a military checkpoint connecting Ramallah to East Jerusalem.
