Upon a tenant not paying their rent for the last 8 months, late composer Chakris mother Vidyavathi and his brother Mahit have now took agitation route. They took up a silent dharna at one Varun Sargam apartments in Somajiguda, Hyderabad.
A tenant named Madhavi has said to be not vacating the flat and shes neither paying the rent of the luxury flat shes rented by Chakri. They complained that Madhavi's defection of payment has led them into troubles as they are struggling to pay the house-loan to the bank. As there is no response from Madhavi despite asking her for rent from many times, both Vidyavathi and Mahit came along with all their luggage and staged a dharna on a footpath.
Many think that were torturing brother Chakris wife. But facts are quite different. Were not able to bear this torture anymore. We want to come on the road such that people will come to know our plight. Both I and my mother are suffering, said Chakris brother Mahit.
