Russell Brand gets a property in countryside?

London, Feb 22 (IANS) British comedian Russell Brand has reportedly swapped his London house for a 3.3 million pounds property in the countryside.

The 40-year-old comedian, who famously wrote a book calling for a revolution, has acquired a six-bedroom pad that boasts an acre of land and is situated in Henley-on-Thames, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

He has been widely mocked for persistently calling for a revolution, despite living such a comfortable lifestyle himself.

Among his most outspoken critics has been his long-time friend Noel Gallagher.

The former Oasis star told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "He told me he is writing another book. I said what is it going to be called this time? 'Now about that revolution that never took place'.

"He is playing Xbox. Revolutionary Russell is playing PS4."
