Mumbai, Feb 6 (IANS) Action star Akshay Kumar, who has earned acclaim for his latest blockbuster "Airlift", on Saturday helped lift the spirits of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) unit which secures Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.

He was especially invited to deliver a motivational talk to the CISF troopers by its DIG Ravindra Kumar and felicitated on the occasion.

In his talk to the attentive troopers, Akshay shared his experiences about the hard work required to achieve success in any sphere in life.

"There is no alternative to sincerity, sheer hard work and perseverance if you want to achieve success in life," Akshay said.

He appreciated the CISF for their professional approach in carrying out their tough task of guarding the CSIA and keeping it safe and secure for the millions of passengers who use it every year.

Later, he answered questions from the CISF personnel and even shared several tips on physical fitness and his mantras about developing a good physique.

On their part, the CISF personnel were virtually floored by Akshay's humility, listening carefully and answering all their queries, freely mingling with them and even sharing snacks together later.

At the conclusion of the event, CISF DIG Ravindra Kumar expressed gratitude to the actor for sparing his valuable time to address the troops and enlightening them on various aspects to achieve physical and professional growth in life.
