In a review meeting on attracting investments to the state of Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu suggested the industries department to host a business summit "Sunrise Andhra Pradesh" in Visakhapatnam from January 10-12.
This summit, it has been decided, will have delegates from 19 countries including Australia, US, UK, Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, UAE, Kuwait, Sudan and several other countries.
The Summit will be held in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and DIPP of the Government of India.
The key focus of the Summit will be to attract investments in the following sectors: 1) Automobile and auto components 2) Textile and Apparel 3) Biotechnology 4) Aerospace and Defence 5) Food processing 6) Tourism and hospitality.
